Don’t you love spring? It’s a great time to finish our languishing projects and to show off our lighter sweaters – lighter in weight, but also lighter in colors. These projects have this spring-y feel in common. Lovely work!
tome’s Robin (Ravelry project page), made in Fino Simple, colorway Shiitake, is simply gorgeous. Behind the simple and flowy lines, there is a unique construction, where the center body is worked flat from the bottom up and the sleeves are simply continued into the body, shaping it sideways. The pattern is by Helga Isager.
Marzena’s Puntilla (Ravelry project page) has a romantic vibe, especially with the contrasting lace band at the bottom, peeking from under the ribbed hem. She used Milis in Opera and Ancient Gold, to great effect. The pattern is by Joji Locatelli.
Finally, Joanie’s Otherside sweater (Ravelry project page), in Piccolo Birch and Leizu Fingering, hints at the colours we’ve missed a bit during the winter months, as colorful stripes light up the Birch grey background of her sweater. The pattern is by Melanie Berg.
